>Salary
58k a year before taxes, 8 percent goes to my roth 401k
>Area of the World: Colorado, USA
>Career:
Well, I have a degree in mechanical engineering but I'm stuck in a GIS role that I kind of don't want to Bit of uncertainty in my life though so don't wanna move to a new job until I finish dealing with family stuff
>Age
26
>Family
Just my mom left. My dad died back in April, left my mom ~200k and me 25k, plus whatever we get out of his estate. She doesn't work though but is 3 years out from retirement
>Type of debt
Just student debt of 70-75k. Currently refinancing the private stuff to have an APY of 4 percent over 10 years
>Assets
Cash -- anywhere from 6-8k. 6k is my baseline emergency fund, while the rest I've been slowly just adding some money as savings for some other things when I need them. Car maintenance, new phone if mine shits the bed, and a new car.
Crypto -- 45k. Pretty diverse, so if one shits the bed, I don't lose all my money
Stocks -- 2k, a mix of GDXJ and SILJ I was gonna keep adding to that, also ad dsome GDX to the mix.

And I agree with paying off your mortgage now desu. Yeah maybe you could save some money and time, but I don't see the market in that sector tanking the way everyone expects it because of how much foreign investments impact prices. Besides, who gives a fuck...you own your house and only have property taxes to pay?
