Anyone here have any plans to build a discreet survival compound innawoods post XRP moon? If so, have you thought of your power setup? Here is mine.
See pic related. Have a large array of these lithium deep cycle batteries to act as a UPS for a modest home with normal power needs for a 5 people being conservative with power needs. For example, only using HVAC at night in order to sleep more comfortably. So the house runs off the batteries at all times, and the batteries get charged through solar. And propane generators to pick up the slack for the solar. If the lights go out long term the only change I may see (if I survive the mass-death event) is that the propane trucks stop coming to refill the propane. Of which I would have perhaps five 2,000 gallon underground tanks. So we'd be good for a long time until the propane ran out and the we would rely only on solar to recharge the batteries. Needless to say we'd learn to use a lot less power by then. If the lights go out long term we are likely all dead, but if some survive I think a setup like this would be comfy.
Can anyone function check this idea for any reason why it would not work?
Of course there would be spare parts for all parts of the system.
I just cannot sleep and be hot or sweating. I have been weakened by modern conveniences so I must have AC, especially where I live. The conquistador's lust for gold and power was greater than the absolute misery this climate inflicts. I'd rather be carbonized in a Anaddah Haulahcaust then sweat like a commoner as I sleep. I need to move to Colorado. I hear there are places there that only require AC use a handful of times a year. Plus bigfoot sightings.
