Jesus fucking christ. You know that saying "It's tough finding good help these days?" Fuck yeah it is.

I'm looking for a Sales Rep and you'd think that there would be plenty of eager college graduates, ready for a fucking shot. Especially in an area of the country that should be FULL OF THEM. But noooo.

These fucking idiots clearly do not even read the job posting, much less the website. They show no initiative. They go through two fucking phone interviews, then conveniently, and consistently gloss over the compensation details in the job posting. They want to work for a company "with a vision" and the work to be "fulfilling", and don't want some monotonous, soul-sucking job. Yet, these same fucks turns around and want a base $50k-$60k salary ON TOP of a commission.

Umm, no sweetie, that's not how it works in the real world. Your expectations of reality clearly aren't realistic here.To get something, you have to sacrifice/give something up. You're at the start of your career and with that base salary: you could easily coast, collect base, and do fuck all. Prove something to me...not for a long time, just a fucking year, and then you can rake in some good bucks.

I'm fucking astounded that it took 6 months for me to find work when I graduated college years and years ago. I find it astounding that despite all the whiny posts I've read on 4chan stating that employers are asking for unrealistic, overqualified job qualifications out of their prospective candidates that I keep getting COLLEGE GRADUATES and even going a bit out of the box: older candidates with up to DECADES of experience in Sales that don't even take the fucking initiative to READ THE JOB POSTING.

Are there any other startup owners that are running into this shit or have seen it??? WHAT THE FUCK.
