disagree on the potential, as i think their window of opportunity is closing fast. competitors will outdo em once they get the tech (apparently other US autos are ready to step in w affordable electric cars).

but the only reason i bothered with this trade is because of the cheap IVs. when i see that stuff, i start thinking about the long odds. 50 bucks is totally worth it. especially since i think he fucked up. its a fine line, and he HAS been orchestrating media stuffs to keep his stock afloat (been saying this ITT for months now). it was time i put my money where my mouth was, and the announcement made everyone go a gaga again

for whatever reason, macro stuff is the only things i can consistently call. just recently i called

>dollar spiking
>turkey collapsing
>ZAR collapsing
>oil pulling back
>bonds running through crash on friday (missed my limit tho)

so i guess its starting to work.
i firmly believe looking at one chart, or one stock is a fools errand. one chart can be manipulated. but all major indexes, and all bond markets at once? that requires some serious effort, and a good reason to do it
