While we're on the subject of college education, why not just LIE ABOUT IT on your CV when applying for jobs? No employer (besides gov't jobs) ever demands to see your transcripts. Not once have I ever been asked by an employer to prove I went to this undergrad or that grad school.

Obviously there are exceptions. Any job that requires licensure by a regulatory board is out of the question. You're not going to be able to lie about having a degree in something like medicine or nursing or law. But let's be real here, the vast majority of jobs out there do not actually require specialized knowledge or a professional license. And plenty of things like math and physics can be self-taught on the internet.

If I were a kid coming of age nowadays, I'd probably learn programming on my own and then fake having a degree in computer engineering.
