Threaten to unionize, we did last year. Every employee got a 3 dollar raise, with a 6% raise on top of that, I got a promotion with a 3 dollar raise on top of both of those, we are getting an 8% raise this year, and I have specialty schools lined up paid for by the company that will get me another raise upon completion and make it a cakewalk to find a new job if I ever decide to move on. Just the thought of a union will get most companies to shit themselves and start throwing money around and if they don't then actually unionize and make them.

I've never understood this aversion to premiums on pms, now of course you want to get your pms at the lowest price you can but everything you buy has a premium, people just don't ever think about it. Every pair of pants you buy you pay like an 800% premium for, that steak you order at chili's is 5 dollars with a 15 dollar premium on top. Literally every purchase you make has a premium added to it, the only two ways to avoid it are to find a sucker selling way under the going price because they don't know what they have or to, mine, refine, blank, and stamp your own pms and even then the cost of an individual to do this would likely outstrip the premium a company would charge you not counting the time and physical labor you have to invest. It blows me away that people will go through life paying 50% to 1000% premiums on things daily with zero hesitation or thought and then draw a hard line and complain when they see 15% on pms.
