Twitter will still be there in 20 years, and no competitor will ever win against it. The concept is already so simple and basic, you just can't do anything different and sufficiently innovative to go against it. And if a competitor comes with its solution, it have to be simple as well. Meaning, nothing Twitter couldn't copy in the minute. While still keeping its user base.
