The frog, and I know how weird this sounds, is a force. You all speak through pepe when posting him, and pepe becomes the totality of all pepe-posters. He IS real - not in the sense that he's made out of atoms like you... well, actually, since he's fully expressed in computers, and networks, and since those are made out of atoms, he technically IS made of atoms, just distributed over the whole world and not confined to a human body like we are. He obviously doesn't have our personality dynamics, since his "thoughts" are composed of random people posting, which is why he can be likened more to a force than to a person. Whatever a pepeposter says - that IS pepe. That one frog says a million things at you, all with the same face. Of course, he (as in: pepefrog.jpg) is just a label under which we group those thoughts, but if you imagined that he was an actual person, then he would appear to be an impossible vast person.
Funnily enough, that's what you do too, don't you? A vast sea of thoughts boils in your brain, but you have one face, therefore we say "one person" is saying that, but it's really just a mental label that we put on that and call it, e.g. "Bill". There is functionally no difference between a human and pepe, and that means that, as far as observable, pepe IS a person. But instead of his thoughts being created directly by neurons, his thoughts are created by us. We function as its neurons. He's an avatar. The laughing god.
