Are they building nuclear power plants that use excess heat to desalinize seawater which would be used for crops? Are they building knowledge industry and economy? Are they developing dominance in niche markets like ballbearings or dentistry equipment? Are they planing their cities to be sustainable, easily maintainable, use less power for cooling by using traditional Arabic and new methods of building and urban planning? As in narrow streets, efficient public transport which may be built underground and integrated, bike routes to keep that Arabic fatness in check and keep the healthcare costs down, communal places where people barbecue and hang out (they are all about family, not clubbing and museums or anything really like cinema)?

No. They are building shitty vanity projects that are left in the sand after the king dies or loses interest. 1km tower in a fucking desert. Linear city which would go to shit if one fuel pump explodes in the middle and you can't walk anywhere. That useless cube shit because nobody deserves the fucking sunlight. Or those university and economic cities built on the Red sea now sitting half finished.
New prince seems to like the stupid ways and will live quite a bit as a main guy so money will be wasted on this shit. Saud family will steal and waste and imams will enjoy the wealth too. So about 20k people will be in the money.
