You bought just some paper silver stock and all you try to do is to get more gbp with your gbp.
The gbp is just paper it has no value and the little value it currently has keeps going down, why would you even want to have more of that paper???
Physical silver is money, you can use it directly as money any time, you don't need any other paper if you have silver.

They couldn't demonetize silver and introduce paper directly, they had to introduce gold and then remove the gold backing.
