Been chatting to a few hardcore bitcoin owners. They speak to a lot of crypto people and they are telling me that many of them have sold part of there crypto positions to stock up on things for the just in case scenario in relation to coronavirus.

Of course they have. If there's a pandemic, or other serious threat to society, who wants Bitcoin? It only has value because it can be sold into FIAT currencies which have real value.
