Because the whale doesn't know who has limit orders below the price range we're in now. This is the same exact reason short sellers aren't clapping all the liquidity. Everyone with more than 2 brain cells to rub together knows there are HUGE players with astronomical amounts of liquidity that have limit orders right around the 200 MA waiting to scamwick anyone who is stupid enough to trigger them.
Which means the only way the price will go down is from smallfish shorters who can move the price maybe 1%, or holders who are emotional and market sell out of fear.
