These are priced at only 11 cents above spot, so it's pretty tempting. Some of the designs are pretty nice too. Well I'll decide tomorrow, need to sleep.

I don't have an ebay account, so I don't follow this market, but someone who buys this kind of cheapies said in an earlier thread he can usually get 5F coins for 6.50, no matter what the spot price is.
The other coins are more expensive though, the Hercule in particular.
There's also the Turin which you definitely should never pay spot price for, because they're lower grade silver. So those aren't quite as interesting.
And here's a .900 commemorative, which you might get close to spot, if you're lucky.

6.50 is really good for 10 grams, at this spot price. Pity about the puny size of lots though. Maybe the 100F commemorative coins are also worth buying on ebay. I'm guessing the Hercule are probably more in demand and expensive, as they're priced higher on dealer sites.

Old sterling or similar items (if you know how to hunt for them), or maybe old junk silver coins if your country has them. Pic is some french .900 commemorative, they made a bunch of these in different designs.

I still don't have any old coins, just thousands of modern stuff in plastic tubes and capsules. Feels bad.
My mom said she's got some old coins for me though, but nothing as old as those morgan dollars. It's more recent stuff like pic. I might buy a few old things for fun, but the premiums are pretty high, so can't go stacking that stuff.
