Oh man. Linux mint 20 is out now. Go ahead and do the upgrade. Install goes fine without errors. Do reboot. Kicks me to grub rescue shell. Oh shit. Oh fuck. I hope I didn't just brick my system. Think about scenario of having to do fresh install or usb boot in then rollback to old install with timeshift. Check bios setting first to make sure the upgrade didn't just point my system to boot off the wrong drive. Find out yes. It did this. For some inexplicable reason. Fix it. Boot success. Linux mint 20 running proper.

I DIDN'T NEED THAT STRESS. THE STOCK MARKET IS LESS STRESSFUL THAN THAT. fuck technology (I love you).
