Honestly I think what happened is
1) a lot of (if not all of) the mods/jannies are woefully ignorant about crypto and which projects are legit vs. scams, so they issue bans for talking about projects/cryptos they don't recognize or don't understand; and
2) at least some of the mods/jannies are corrupt in that they're being paid to look the other way on some legit scams/shitcoins/vaporware pump & dump cryptos.

I don't doubt there are a lot of pajeet scammers shilling absolute dogshit on /biz/, but my 2 points above are still true. I think the mods/jannies got left behind in the past year and they're totally lost and confused about crypto now. For example with the recent SOL meme shitcoin casino and all the useless shit being gambled on there - that's a legit crypto use (gambling on shitcoins) but mods have no fucking clue, wouldn't even allow meta threads about some of those cryptos that did like 5000x. It's like having monkeys moderate a Physics discussion.
