The FUD on zenon (like this) is so disingenuous. That alone should be a massive buy signal to the smarter anons out there.

In my opinion, Znn is the main answer to serious BTC-based scalability, but it may go far beyond that and to include other chains. The ZTS (Zenon Token Standard) is the specification allowing for any token to be created on the NoM and interact with zApps.

In terms of branding I have no idea. What I do know is that the team is extremely professional from their website to their medium articles to the tech itself, and I'm sure the same will be true of the branding after alphanet. Rumour has it there's a secret website up and running for the closed private testnet running right now (about 30 pillar runners) and the feedback is immensely positive.

Alright anon, here's the rundown.

>What is it
Incredibly fast, almost infinitely scalable state of the art DLT. It combines the block lattice architecture that was first(?) used by Raiblocks/Nano with a DAG that exists as a separate layer for the consensus. The block lattice handles the transactions. It's going to be used to scale Web3 dapps as a L1, and also process transactions as a L2 chain.

>Who does it
This is an independent, open-source project and will probably be run by a foundation similar to Ethereum and Cardano, but I'm about 99.5% sure its backed by Square. I can enumerate the zillions of times they have hinted as such if I really have to here, but you can search for old biz posts on Zenon here and also on Warosu. Taken together the evidence is overwhelming but they've stayed under the radar by not confirming anything, by maintaining a very strict Telegram presence where they boot people who don't post, and bots sell off rallies when people buy it on the exchanges.

Square will likely use it to scale Bitcoin transactions where the default payment for merchants and Cashapp users is made in BTC, and then they can set it to dollars or pounds or whatever afterwards.

Twitter will likely use it for decentralizing its platform, where tweeting becomes more like a public utility.

Its open source and not owned by Square, like how Node.js isn't owned by Google but has wide adoption. They'll easily recruit 1000s of legacy web apps for this bc no code changes are needed, and also dapps on Ethereum will easily switch over.

3-4 months ago, I was invited to a group about Zenon .Their goal was to prove Zenon was a hoax. Damn it, we're all Zenon owners now. We've reached out to Jack as a result of our investigations.
