Bailing in would mean deleveraging and that is political suicide. And besides, what would become of the citizens if these grid companies were allowed to fall? There is no way they would allow it to happen. If nothing else, governments would take a bigger share of ownership and add more incompetents into the company boards.

Better yet, moving to SEA for cheap living and sitting with gold and dollars and living essentials. I'm unironically contemplating doing just that. The rapidly increasing likelihood of the worst depression in the history of Europe and a big war are what also make me want to get out of here.
