It's my first day on /biz/ and I'm just about done browsing the catalog.

This place seems to be populated by incels in their 20's who know very little about financial management or investments beyond obscure cryptocurrencies. If that interests you, stay here.

There are much better online communities for what I'm looking for, however. I'd recommend you keep browsing and spend a lot more time reading books than reading posts here.

I don't think the young men here will help with much of anything in life, let alone investments. It seems to be more of a "release valve" than anything else... mostly about frustrations with women and crappy jobs.

I did learn a bit about crypto currencies, however. I'm not sure of what use it will be to me, since I would only invest 1-5% of my wealth into such a novel concept. But to each his own. I'm actually very impressed at how some of these incels have actually created their own crypto markets. There are entire currencies just being traded back and forth by virgin losers across the planet, it's a bit funny to see them having real discussions about it. No one else even realizes these coins exist (beyond bitcoin), and yet these incels are discussing them at naseum as if they're real markets, failing to realize they're within their own little bedroom market. I love it, would be fun to make money like that I guess. Much better than masturbating to porn and playing video games, at least.

I assure you, all the intelligent and wealthy people I know wouldn't be caught dead here, much less realize such a place exists.

Anyway, so long, losers! I did laugh at some of your jokes... so, thanks for that. Good luck with your crypto

Cocaine trafficking built a very significant portion of Floridas skyline. When some transporters were interviewed about the lucrative aspects of this business, they highlighted that millions doesn't even begin to describe their profits as individuals. How do you think this new digital age of currency will fair relative to those trafficking days?

I'm going to give you the low-down, Anon.

Right now, Bitcoin is sitting at approximately 5/6th the scarcity of gold, judging from the stock-to-flow ratio. Currently gold's marketcap is $9-10 trillion and rising. Bitcoin's is hovering around $200 billion.

That's a lot of room for Bitcoin to rise. That means we could plausibly see 200-400k Bitcoin -- this cycle alone.

But that's only the beginning. Because every four years, Bitcoin has another halving that cuts its inflation rate. This effectively DOUBLES its stock-to-flow ratio.

This means that in the year 2024, Bitcoin will be TWICE as scarce as gold, with twice the stock-to-flow. This would potentially bring it into the million-dollar-per-coin range.

And it keeps going, Anon. In 2028, Bitcoin will be FOUR TIMES as scarce as gold. In 2032, it will be EIGHT TIMES as scarce.

So yes. One Bitcoin is all anyone on earth could ever or would ever need. The only question is how long you're able to wait. Do you want to sell in this bull market and buy even more Bitcoin at the bottom of the next bear? You can do that. Do you want to hang on to your Bitcoin and wait for the million-dollar valuation in 2025? You can do that too.

But whatever you do, you never EVER sell all of your Bitcoin. It's the scarcest financial asset in human history, and as long as you have ONE, you will make it.
