>work in quality control laboratory for major paper mill company
>know that there is a big project that we are developing with new model of automated sample taker(literally cuts our job out by 4-5 hours)
>decide to buy some stock in company worth with about 800€
>lead developer is kicked out so we could attempt to steal his work and patent it for the company and get that sweet developer direct payment of 10,000€
>for almost month we attempt to decode his system,rework the camera etc. but nothing seems to work
>we even bring in experts from Germany to attempt to fix this shit, at this point the project has eaten up nearly 100,000€ from out budget
>should have sold at this point, but keep thing we can turn things around
>then the drop starts after having to report to company boss about it
>its been 2 months now since I filed that report
>project has eaten up 500,000€ from our budget at this point and additional 200,000€ from investment funds since we more or less promised to get this automated system working within 3 months
