Stroads are shit, sitting in traffic sucks, ecologically all these stupid roads are disasterous, social consequences of them are terrible etc.
They're right on almost everything but refuse to acknowledge a simple fact:
People don't want to share a sidewalk or a train with black people. If you look at a city like Savannah GA which chose to remain de facto segregated, you can get a glimpse of what American urbanism could have been.
