Look at what happens to mines after the halvening. They are going to get wrecked because block rewards are halved. Some have already started capitulating.

BSV, after genesis, will scale to terabyte and petabyte blocks. The transaction fees will replace the lost block rewards. The transaction fees will be 1000ths of a US cent. Ethereum will scale on the BSV chain because it will be cheaper and faster for transactions.

The other two raptors are

1) government regulations from US and EU. Especially KYC and keeping all transactions. Lightning fails miserably at this. The regulations will take down exchanges and BTC within the next 2 years.

2) N-Chains over 800 blockchain technology patents. Well over anyone else. Ethereum or any other crypto will be forced to build on BSV or pay Nchain for use of the patent.

Things have been in the works since before segwit.
