He was instrumental in helping Andre Cronje of Yearn/YFI fame steal 15 million USD from people. Andre had promised a "surprise release" of the next Defi project he was working on. Blue Kirby was employed Yearn and paid $8000 usd/month to do marketing and hype on social media. Suddenly one day Andre deploys a new contract from the yearn deployer and Kirby starts a mass of tweets about the NEXT HUGE PRODUCT FROM ANDRE and hyping the shit out of it calling it an ALPHA RELEASE. Everyone paying attention thought this was the "surprise project". Kirby gave specific instructions on how to interact with the contract so people start doing so. Meanwhile other yearn devs where not only retweeting all this but also arbing the contract. In just a few hours people had sent $15 million USD, when suddenly a "hack" happened and poof all the money was gone. Woops!

The hacker was nice so he sent 8 million back to Andre. When people found out they were very angry, so Andre did the right thing and disappeared. The yearn devs who had made $ arbing the contract then decided to be extra nice and announced a partial refund from the 8 mill. There were thousands of people who were very anxious because all their money was gone, but at least they were getting a partial (20%) refund. The yearn devs were so nice that on the webpage for the refunds they included a TIP JAR OPTION on the center - so some people mistakenly claimed their refund and gave 100% of it back to the yearn devs. Double woopsie!

Still following? Turns out Kirby wasnt content with his role in this scam, he had also charged thousands of $ to give insider-trading info about yearn. He was also selling nintendo-themed NFT items on Rarible and made almost an extra 1 million in what he called a "shameless cashgrab". Rarible ended up banning his project, nothing was delivered, and he went dark and deleted all his social media. Bored 4chan anons decided to bring justice to this dark world and here we are.

The end.
