BTW even if we disregard* lost coins, there is still a separate mathematical fact. Remember high school math limits: If you mention infinite supply, you're necessarily implying infinite time. Monero's inflation is always decreasing. That is to say, over infinite time, the inflation tends towards zero. You can say Monero is 0% inflation with the exact same math which allows you to say it's infinite supply. Again, to be clear, this inflation bitshits are crying about is 0.8% at its worst, and will only ever get lower in a completely predictable, smooth manner.

* Which you can't, because *any* rate of coin loss, even the tiniest one, makes the supply mathematically impossible to be infinite. And unlike limits which happens over infinite time, this settles in finite (albeit still a long) time.
