Should part-time jobs not exist? Why should every job pay a "livable wage"?

>lol at having the double-think necessary to believe in the legitimacy of price signals when $1200 cocktails are a real thing that rich people buy and the entire field of marketing exists and the state buys billion dollar fighter planes

Sure, I am no longer a libertarian and I accept that the market is limited. But so is the state and this is explained quite well be Mises and Hayek in their interpretations of the ECP, which I am going to wager you haven't read because you are referencing consumer items that are irrational to buy rather than the process of configuring production optimally regardless of what particular product is desired, which is actually the problem with central planning and is always what brainlets don't fucking understand about the ECP.

It doesn't matter that people buy irrational things because... *at least the market is capable of even producing those things in the first place*. That is the *real* problem of economic calculation not the final price of the end good, but determining the costs of higher order goods (factors of production).

>capitalism requires a low wage workforce in order to be profitable
Why? It doesn't necessarily. The definition of capitalism is broad enough that many configurations of labor and capital could be called capitalism. "Low-wage workforce" is vague as hell anyways. Is all the workforce low wage or do you mean that there is a substantial portion of low-wage workers? And "low" is relative to the work done. What do you mean by "low"?
