Do I buy Bitcoin now or wait until after the 15th?

Okay I'm trying to wrap my brain around this explanation of how to avoid taxes by taking loans against collateral instead of selling that collateral. As explained here https://youtu.be/CETdBZIXhPo?t=4920

This all sounds great except, where does the money come from to pay back the loan principle and interest? It wouldn't make sense if I just used the loan itself for that since I would just be paying interest with no gain. Do you just assume you'll default on the loan at some point and give up your collateral? If so wouldn't this only work one time and one time only, since you will not get a second loan if you defaulted on the first one? Michael Saylor says that rich people do this loan tax avoidance thing for decades using real estate but I feel like I'm still missing some important step here. Pls help a grug brain understand this.
