i voted for Trump and probably will again, and most of the attacks against him over the last 4 years have been largerly manufactured by the Mainstream Media (and to a lesser extent the Democrat Party), but in this particular case of him talking about the coronoavirus, he's obviously completely full of shit and trying to manipulate the country. He knows that his reelection hinges on the economy. If the economy remained strong through to election day, I'd put his chances at 90%+ of winning reelection, but with a failing economy his odds drop down to somewhere around 20-30%.

He's trying to dismiss corona for purely economic reasons, and while I think his opponents will do the opposite and try to over exaggerate the dangers, the truth is certainly closer to the middle, erring on the side of caution.

In all honesty he probably DESERVES another term since his first one was mired in so much bullshit (witch hunts, false accusations, etc.) that bogged him down, but his poor handling of this corona outbreak and the subsequent derailing economy will cost him severely.
