Chainlink will take off. It's just a matter of when. Take a look outside of this echo chamber and people seem to be really confident in it.

So I just checked out their website.. It trades food and raw materials (items that have real world value), takes out the middlemen and has low fees and it's easy and simple to use. I just regurgitated what OP said but damn, this thing is gonna fucking explode. It's still in ICO too. I'm gonna accumulate as much as I possibly can. A 1000x profit would make me filthy fucking rich.

What are you going to do when Chainlink fails?

Your coin has to be at least worth something before you're legible to become a marine.
Voise hasn't even accomplished that.
Voise is a shitcoin.

When I first started, I found it easier to trust my intuition. But eventually I started to notice... some coins shilled on /biz/ that I caught the day before, and thought is absolutely doomed to fail, are soaring the next day. This implanted self-doubt, and my choices became less rational as the coins that seemed to succeed were also irrational.
Then I stopped giving a flying fuck about shitcoins altogether when I realize I didn't come here to gamble.
Anyway, hope you take something from this OP.
Buy high sell low.

How might a fledgling trader start a wallet? I'm very new to crypto, and would like to get in on it.

Budget: $15-$50

Someone recommended me LINK, but I'd like to hear the voices of some veterans too.

Also, how do I get a wallet started? I'd love to buy now before LINK surges, but don't know how.
