Asking again: Will the SP500 rebalance in march be the final nail in the TSLA coffin?
It was included on Dec18, at around $650.
SP500 (and friends) is market cap weighted, and TSLAs market cap fell by a lot, while the rest of the index constituents did not.
This means when the rebalance is done, a shitton of shares will be sold on rebalance day (March 20) by boomer ETFs. Hedgies will of course frontrun and shortsell before this date, increasing the selloff.
ARK will implode, take the memes with it, forcing the whole thing to liquidate once everyone just pulls out in panic.

So anon, can you explain why you don't own April TSLA puts?

One of the things I do to improve my trading is go out driving at rather dangerous speeds and almost flip the car a few times.
After experiencing actual near death, a small dip of 80% doesn't really upset me.
