> Can code smart contracts (have made gambling websites, ICO's, games, social applications, etc., you can check my website-portfolio for a few examples: http://www.bogthebuilder.com )
> Can develop the front-end UI/UX (JS, CSS, HTML)
> Can design the logos and assets, as well as the creatives for the marketing (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)

Have always done this stuff for fun, decided to try and do it for money recently; which is why I've got a decent amalgamation of finished/semi-finished dApp's that haven't received much/any marketing. Needed to build up a portfolio.

Where/how would one go about utilizing these skills to make some cash/crypto on the side? Don't have the money to get invested into crypto, so designing these things are pretty much my only chance to be involved.

Looking to do an ICO of some sort, trying to think of a theme. I can do some really creative things with the smart contract and website front-end, just need a theme.

Any suggestions on memes with a good enough following and basis for an ICO? Of course will do an airdrop here when it's good to go

Had a lot of great feature suggestions the last time I posted up Desert Dash, decided to work on the multiplayer view and just finished it up right now

Now you're able to:
> View all other players current positions on the map
> Pick from almost 100 different game pieces (used mostly the top 100 coins for game pieces)

The game's running on Ropsten still, so if you'd like to play it's completely free, just need Metamask and some Ropsten ether:
http://www.desertdash.fun

Still working on adding a chat in, not sure what service I want to use, or if I just want to do something from scratch JS, maybe Node.js or something. But for now, at least you're able to actually play with other people and see where their current position is on the board.

Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated, if you'd like to follow along with development of this dApp or any of my other/future dApps, you can check out my portfolio/blog http://www.bogthebuilder.com

Had a lot of great suggestions last week for my next dApp to design, was really intrigued by the lottery game Chase The Ace, so decided to give it a go and here's what I came up with:

www.chasetheace.fun

Essentially here's how the game works, players join the lottery by buying a ticket, once the minimum number of tickets has been met, anyone can trigger the "pick the winner" function. The winner instantly receives 25% of the ticket sales for the round (75% goes into the jackpot) and they get an opportunity to draw a card. If the winner draws an Ace of Spades, they win the whole jackpot, if they don't draw the Ace of Spades, the deck size is decreased by 1 (starts at a normal 52 card deck) and the round resets. This repeats, with the jackpot growing each round, until a round winner draws the Ace of Spades and takes it all.

So as the game progresses, the jackpot will get bigger and will be easier to win each round. I thought it seemed pretty neat.

Currently the game's running on the Ropsten testnet, so you can play without betting any real money, you can check out the source code here to see how it works:

Comments, questions, concerns, critiques, suggestions, last wishes?

Shoutout to the dude who gave the idea in the last thread.

Bog The Builder here, got a lot of great dApp ideas from the last thread, been working on this the past couple days as a result and just launched it to the Ropsten test-net earlier on.

Desert Dash: www.desertdash.fun

Etherscan (along with source code): https://ropsten.etherscan.io/address/0xc78005e63d263304e70108f0b37baf4ca6e2d9d2#code

Essentially the game is a Chutes and Ladders rework built entirely on the blockchain, the minimum amount of players required to start the game is set to 1 for the test-net, there can be an unlimited amount of players who can race eachother on the board simultaneously, there's spaces that send you backwards or shoot you forwards, there's elements that allow you to move quicker, the thing I'm working on right now is:

1. A live chatroom to go along with it

2. Ability to see other players on the board as well, rather than just knowing how far the furthest players has reached for the current round

Also trying to figure out the prize, not sure I want to do the whole "everyone throw in and 1 person wins the pot" thing; instead maybe this time it'll be a physical item for the winner, or a static amount set ahead of time.

Thoughts, questions, comments, concerns, critiques, last words?

It's currently live on Ropsten test-net, so give it a play and let me know what you think!

Alright /biz/, Bog The Builder here and I'm ready to build us a dApp. Experienced with JS/Solidity and can pretty much build whatever as long as the logic makes sense.

So what are we building? Include your eth wallet address in your reply and if your contribution to the dApp gets included I'll include your address as part of the split for whenever eth gets withdrawn from the contract of the dApp. I'll make a pre-set list of addresses that will automatically receive equal split of whatever the dApp brings in.

So what are we thinking, a collectibles with a ponzi element maybe?
