flips are cheap storage, suitable for shipping. capsules do protect better from atmosphere. i've considered just using flips but desu i have so few 1oz gold coins capsules is a good option. its not even necessary, given gold's inertness. if i bought meme silver i'd definitely put them in capsules. most of my 1oz ag rounds are in tubes and get handled without gloves. they're in pretty good shape and i do expect they'll show wear over the years but i dont care. most of my silver is in sealed 10oz bars. my fractional gold, LMUs etc are in the tube caps and a sovereign holder.
