>Is it worth learning python to be able to pivot to a nice paying finance job? I have a shitty bachelors in an unrelated field so I definitely don't have ANY coding/programing experience

I recommend this udemy course. Gf just finished it a few weeks ago. I started but didn't finish. planning on picking it back up before summer. hopefully the link works. the lessons are pretty good but quite time intensive. I'll be honest. I fell for the whole only 1 hour a day thing. It was taking me a lot longer than an hour to review lectures and then also an hour or more to finish all of the days projects. But I'm new to coding and not especially bright.

Gf knew ruby already and could just coast through the projects in 15 minutes usually.
