the thing that always gets me is, what's their endgame? societal collapse, civil/world war, anarchy? what good is your money then? it's the weirdest fucking shit. meanwhile, reasonable bulls are just like "yeah shit sucks now but it'll recover so realistically this is just a good dip to slowly accumulate, buy and hold for a couple of years". if we lose we all die and nothing really matters, if we win (and we will) we make it.

literally unironically the only way i lose is if society can't get it's shit together (like it literally always has) and society collapses, at which point your portfolio is the least of your worries. i keep trying to tell bobos this but they don't listen.
