Where I stop and settle down into wealth preservation will depend on the practicality of getting to either one of these figures

I only tend to assume you can get about 3-4% max above inflation (2-3% per year)
If you can miraculously get something like a CD for 6% per year, then that nets you
~$40,000/year passive income at 1 mil
And ~$100,000/year at 2.5 mil

When you can accumulate wealth like that just from interest I don't see much reason to try and risk capital to get above 2.5 mil
