yep. One example is the Black Cloud or Asarco Mine in Leadville. I worked there for years. The primary ore was indeed lead/zinc, but the money actually came from silver, gold, copper, rare earths.

we call them polymetalic mines. They produce a mix, and often the money comes from pms even if the bulk of the ore is base metals
