>In 2020, an American silver peace dollar could be had for between 30 and 35 euro, now you must pay at least 40 euro.
I've noticed this in the US too, an average grade Peace or Morgan Dollar used to cost a little more than an ounce of Silver, but now they're regularly 5-10 bucks over spot. I haven't experienced the same price creep for Canadian Silver Dollars or British .500 Crowns (there just isn't much demand for them in the US), but it's a really weird phenomenon to see common stuff rise in premium without really getting any rarer. I can't even think of anything that would be driving the price increase on these.

If you're buying Cull Silver dollars either buy them based on Silver weight or buy them from a shop where you can pick out better coins from them.

I made a video discussing this last month, I believe I posted it here when it was uploaded, but I'll link it again just to shamelessly self-promote.

>Also I know /pmg/ is very hodl-oriented, but what are the options for selling?
Ebay would allow you to sell at a much higher price than the coin would even retail for, but you'd get hit with fees that might negate this.
Craigslist is good if your patient and live somewhere with people you can trust.
Find out if there are any Coin Shows locally, you might be able to find a buyer there, but I'm not sure how that would work.

1921 is the most common year and least likely to be faked of any Morgan. Still, I think you should ping and weigh the coins before you buy them just to be safe.
