Newb here, do exchanges work against shorters? If they see a lot of people shorting, can they purposefully invest to move the price to liquidate all shorters?

Who fucking cares if the amoutn if finite the price will just adapt but it doesn't change anything, it being finite doesn't mean it's going to stay at a price or another, at the end of the day it's just fucking digital bytes in hard drives.

Now is the worst time to buy because people are going to sell to benefit and others will follow out of fear just like every fucking time and you're only seeking to inflate your little personal investment.
