I took my parents out for dinner as their Christmas present tonight, and my dad started talking about the market and said, "yeah I'm down almost 100k this year even though I'm in bonds" and I was like ?????????????????????????

so my dad pulled his money all out early January, and my grandpa manages their portfolio. My grandpa is an accountant and does consulting for some sort of investment firm on the side. For some fucking retarded reason, my dad told him he wanted to be out of the market and in bonds, an upon hearing that instead of buying actual fucking bonds he bought DFXIX (a stock). my dad thought he was in bonds the whole time and didn't realize DFIXix wasn't bonds


so now instead of being up 50k on their million dollar portfolio my parents are down 100k because this mongoloid didn't buy bonds when they said they wanted to be out of the market. he also put them back into some stocks at the top of august. if he wasn't my own grandpa I'd probably punch him.

I got fired yesterday. was my first big job and I was there for nearly 3 years. somehow managed to piss my bosses boss off and they finally found something to fire me over. now I have to job hunt. how much do previous employers even say when they get called to prove previous employment?

I just got back from a corporate team building event. I didn't see this lady and accidentally knocked her over. I was really sleep deprived, and I was thinking of saying something along the lines "fostering/kindling the team spirit", but it came out as "fondling the team spirit" right as this senior director walked by.
