if there is something thats changed in my belief/thinking about money, finances, etc. over this past recent history, it is that serious acceptance and conscious visceral awareness that fiat currency is exactly what we all knew it to be all along, monopoly clown money, but i didnt dwell on it before just went on about my business attending to more immediate concerns, as opposed to strategizing how to insulate myself from any potential major failure of our fiat.
after some long periods recently of amazement, anger, rage, worry, frustration, bitterness, hopelessness, confusions ...
i have arrived at an internal acceptance and made peace with it. partly because I really dont have that much of my wealth immediately vested in" cash" fiat currency. most of my "wealth" is in investments of some sort. so my thinking is, if US fiat goes zimbabawe, there will be a limit to my "losses" because i only keep so much wealth or savings in clown cash. the rest is invested in something or other.
now of course my investments could go upside down if currency fails but, i cant control it all, so I'm not fucking stressing about it anymore.
but all in all one thing for sure i now have an insatiable appetite for PMs, and this time next year if we're still afloat, I'll start investing in real estate, of whatever kind i can get my hands on. but preferably real estate of a type that i can live on, like a piece of land somewhere

but til then. stacking PMs is where my moneys at. its a hobby and a hedge. and quite possibly a chance it could be a profit one day
