How do you make money online? I've heard about stuff like upwork, which is probably the most common or easily accessible avenue, as well as odd jobs like aggregating personal information from people and selling that to whoever. Are there things that you don't need a particular skill set to jump into? Or does it really necessitate selling your time doing skilled labor? I'm probably already fucked if I'm asking these things, but I'm still curious. Any discourse about making money online is welcome.

Holy shit, I'm amazed my thread is still up. Just got back from job number 2 a bit ago.
The common sentiment seems to be either
>need more education/certs
>pound pavement, firm handshake
>gubmint fucked us
While I could get more certs and stuff, I dont really care for IT too horribly much, and that makes retention a little difficult for me, and I dont have a lot of opportunities for it despite being within 25-30 minutes of a major city.
I've actually tried this, two of which I got into for a short while, but nothing really panned out. Not that it would be sustainable for me physically anyway.
Fuck the government, they dont do anything in our best interest. Why would they start now? Besides, I try not to take handouts unless I really fucking need it.
I know there isnt a magic key to success beyond a good mindset, but I'm either not there yet or just unfortunate.

I just want to make it
I just want to be happy
But I also don't want to put in much effort or money and also it would be nice if the whole sad->happy transition only took a day or so
