metallic minerals can appear in pretty much any rock type, as they are brought in by other events such as fault movement generating quartz veins or from all manner of other environments. Copper is most often associated with massive volcanic plugs of rock called "porphyrys", their intrusive igneous rocks that bring up metal rich solutions as they penetrate local basement rock. Other metallic deposit types can form on the flanks of these massive structures too but i wont go into that to much.

Never understood the disgust, or anger for that matter. Anons will post thousands of dollars in PMs, alot of them pretty good quality pics, will contribute to conversations, but the second they include a figurine in the pic and you guys latch on like a pit bull to a toddler and the only thing your brains can focus on is the figurine. You guys will completely ignore all the PMs, and shit up and derail an entire thread in some cases multiple threads in a row bitching and moaning that someone would have the audacity to put a figurine in their photo. Just doesn't make sense to me unless the whole point is to not talk about PMs in which case you guys are doing a great job.
