Initially, I thought the legitimacy to astrology began and ended with the fact that the celestial bodies have massive influence via their gravitational pull. The Sun for example is so massive that it's gravitational field can keep other planets orbiting around it. The Moon is in close enough proximity to Earth that its gravity can affect the tides of the ocean. A human is made up of approximately 63% water. We are not exempt from the forces of nature, including those imposed on us by "the gods" (planets/celestial bodies). It is a sign of arrogance and/or stupidity to believe we are exempt from these forces. Where do you believe we get terms like lunacy, lunatic and lunar madness from? What do you think the story of the werewolf is about? A normally docile man finds that he turns into a primal beast on a full moon. It is well-documented that there is a consistent influx of crimes that occur during full moons. Anyway, I digress... after equipping myself a thorough understanding of astrology, and having held this understanding for the better part of a decade, I now realize that there is a pre-determined time-line to reality and the events that take place. With our free will we can either choose to align ourselves with the divine plan,this cosmic dance, or reject it (to our detriment). Being aware of astrological transits allows us to more easily conceptualize what is going on, and subsequently allow us to harmonize with the plan.
