My older brother worked at a Winn dixie and some old guy seriously used six gold eagles to buy groceries, brother was allowed to buy half of them from the register and used them to pay for his wedding.
The same brother sees no reason to buy gold or silver because he's "already rich" and the single silver eagle I gave him for a birthday present and a silver dime I gave his kid is the only silver his household has.
