If you aren't holding privacy coins and more specifically Zcoin then you're doing it wrong.

So zk-snarks aren't really private unless the user does manual mixing within the shielded transactions and the privacy of ring signatures is limited to the size of the ring (which has an upper limit). So the only coin that actually gives true zero-knowledge privacy is ZCoin. Why aren't you invested?

Privacy coins? Yes. Right now people take privacy for granted when using banks, but with BTC it's all traceable to the end.

It's my understanding as well that it's far from the final solution. And there are much better alternatives that have faster block times and less transaction fees and use mining algrohitms that are ASIC resistant. For me BCH is like a new LTC, which is like a copy with not much improvement.

Bitcoin is a good alternative for gold market where you don't need fast transactions and little volatility(the volatility issue is still ,but it has become less and less with more adoption). What problem is LTC trying to solve that there already aren't a 100 better solutions out there? If you want faster tx fees then XLM, XRP and Dash are better for it.

I've taken out 2x my seed money out by now. It doesn't really make it easier after having mingi 50x gains.

You guys keep saying BCH has better tx fee and speed. So what? So does pretty much every other coin on the market. Nobody buys BTC to buy milk with it, it's just a gateway to buy altcoins on exchanges. And you don't have to use BTC either to move between exchanges, you can use Stellar or Ripple for that which are instant transfers. Do we really need "the original blockchain"?

I would consider getting coins that reward you for holding and pretty much forget about them. I'm using NEO and Zcoin for this, but I heard ARK also works on the same principle. Then set BTC alerts - if it starts booming or crashing, just some part.
Using this technique, you probably own't make as much money as successful daytraders, but you most definitely beat most wannabe day-traders and still have you life.

XMR is nice and works for now, but in the long run there are new competitors of privacy coins coming up. With them it's more realistic to achieve big gains because their total market cap is 10x less than XMR at the moment. Zcoin (not zcash) for example is getting very hot right now. On 14th of November there was news that they will create nodes like Dash and the $ value has gone up about 250% since.
