i googled this article the photo is from and it was as i guessed an equal montly weighting strategy, not as you claimed buy 200 companies and hold them and you beat index. equal weight strategies are not practical however they lose to sp500 in fact. there are trading strategies that are way more practical than these kind of theoretical plays

sure thing. i just pointed out that you are not exactly betting long vs short in stocks like some other markets which have other dynamics. people under estimate expections and current returns especially tech stocks thats why most people lose money they trade too much fundamentals and get trapped in their ideas. even indecies have traded decades way out of fundamental values it's normal
