Anyone else gone into doomer-mode after being redpilled on monetary matters? I see little hope for the future and I think it will get much, much, much worse for people before it even starts to get better.

I left my last job because they just kept cutting payroll, increasing pay, and then expecting everyone to do more and more work with less time and overall less pay.

Then I left, now after over a year with this company they are basically doing all the same shit at my current. As soon as Covid happened they basically started tearing everything apart and took away all of the positives of this job. I'm basically where I was a year ago all over again.

Everywhere I go it seems like the jobs just keep growing more demanding and terrible the second I step into them.

I go above and beyond and they still manage to demand more regardless.

I have to find a way out of this pattern. Corporations are apparently run by morons who only care about their stock value and don't seem to understand they are stealing from the foundation of their whole business model doing it. Or they do and just don't care, which is magnitudes worse.

The reason so many companies are dying so fast during the Covid situation is because most of the big name companies in retail, travel, services, and such are basically a house of cards that they have been pulling cards out of the lowest levels for years to pad their numbers to boost their own end of year returns and keep stock holders happy.

They were running the numbers so tightly so they could toss the money in their own pockets with zero prep for any potential economic downturn with zero regard for all of their employees or the surrounding communities.

Honestly I just want to make it so I can walk into my job, tell my manager I quite and tell him exactly why I am with zero regard for consequences.

My mental health is getting destroyed, and no one seems to care until I freak out. I cant deal with my job much longer without potentially long term health consequences I may or may not rebound from.

I'm 29, I do have a (low paid) job as a place to start at least, no capital and currently nocoiner.
I've worked out about $4-5,000 would turn my life around and is my initial goal I'd like to get to at some point in the next 12 months but about half would get me on my way (I HAVE to get a car to get paid more, I want to fix some niggling medical problems that have lingered for a while (2 ingrowing toenails that keep coming back, bad wisdom tooth, weird rash on my leg that wont piss off), spending a vacation home reconnecting with family cross country eventually).

My last trade I sold Quant way too early with a sell order that had way too long of a time limit. (thought I made gains when refreshing blockfolio but didn't realise I sold long before ATH).

How do I revert back from this?

It used to be so easy, just smoke and play some vidya if I felt like it. Maybe drink and eat some fast food with friends. Fuck my high school girlfriend all the time. Still get my shit done and not give a fuck about anything beyond that.

Everything fucking sucks now. No matter how much I workout or gain "success" in life, it just feels worse. No gf, no more natural enjoyment for life, just dragging on as a shell of a person. The craziest thing is, people THINK you are growing as a person, just based off how you SEEM to be doing. No matter how much you do, it's not enough, and there's nothing to look forward to when you finish. You just do it because you feel like you have to. In fact, I don't know the last time I did something just because I wanted to do it. Even video games feel like a chore. Fuck, what I would do to go back.
