The black market is the realest market on the planet, pure supply & demand with no State interference.

>Give it up baggies, its so over for you

>Reminder that moonfags get the rope.

Based beyond belief. Moonfagging does nothing but attract more mouth-breathing "wen lambo?" opportunists, its an annoying distraction from the mission at hand, there's a reason why r/Monero also prohibits price talk and directs you to the dedicated containment board.

Never forget what this is ultimately all about.

>Fuck i2p.

Sounds like something a frustrated glowie might say.

>It’s slow

My own experience is that it generally tends to be faster than Tor.

>awkward to configure

It ain't 2012 no more, nigga, there are pre-configured bundles available now. Using I2P is as easy as using Tor.

>Tor works just fine, idk why retards are trying to make i2p happen.

Tor gets slower as the number of users grows. I2P gets faster as the number of users grows.

I2P is an isolated network by default and thus more suitable for hidden services.

>I2P, by and large, is better for anonymity
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8zcakseXH_I&t=1102s

I2P is a 100% underground cypherpunk project with no history of governmental involvement or funding.

I2P is the future.....until something better comes along. Rinse & repeat.

>If XMR isn't profitable to mine, then why would people mine it? What's the incentive?

Monero miners are motivated primarily by ideology, not profits, so mining at an acceptable loss is pretty much the norm now.

Probably buying gold coins with crypto and then selling for cash. Most crypto-friendly bullion dealers can't or won't accept Monero so your best bet is to use Trocador as an intermediary:

>You send Trocador XMR
>Trocador sends an equivalent amount of BTC or whatever to the specified payment address.
>Coins get delivered
>You cash out anonymously

Just make sure to rotate the dealers you buy from, a different one each time.

>so if I understand correctly you're saying that if someone attacks monero then the same people currently mining at a loss will spend even more money to defend the network?
>is that right?
>what tells you that's correct and not just hope?

Nigga, this ain't Bitcoin. MoneroChads are primarily motivated by ideology rather than profits and many mine at an acceptable loss just to support the network and stick it to the glowies.

Remember what happened when MineXMR hit 51%? Moniggaz stepped up, got to counter-hashing and drove that shit back down rapidly.

>to be honest I'm kind of afraid of an attack on monero and I'm trying to find details that might be more reassuring

Don't be, while its not impossible it would be a logistical nightmare setting up the machines themselves, not to mention sourcing all the electricity required in one place.

>if it's not profitable to secure I don't understand how it can be secure

IDEOLOGY. People have gone to war and died for it, others have betrayed their own country for it. Mining at a slight loss ain't no thang if its for a righteous cause you believe passionately in.

>>P2Pool is mainly for "helping" XMR be decentralized. It is not profitable in the slightest if at all.

Pretty much, if you don't have essentially free electricity. And yet P2Pool hashrate keeps increasing. Its almost like most Monero miners are happy to mine at an acceptable loss for the good of the network.

Behold the advantages of having an ideologically-driven community and userbase, THIS is why we strive to keep the moonfags out.
