do i have much of a future left at this company or am i dog about to be dragged out back and put out of its misery? in the last three months, my team of 4 has been termed, no longer a manager, just a glorified copy-paste admin. then the company shutters their recruiting department/team, and fires the vp of recruiting. then our vp or product development resigned the last week of 2023. now one of my two bosses, who was an executive of production just resigned.

have no idea what the fuck to do. my other boss is probably going to gaslight me into thinking everything is okay, while they squeeze whatever additional work out of me that they can. and obviously quitting is retarded. but either the company goes defunct or they get bought out, either way probably not good for someone in my role. the writing seems to be on the wall though. and i've been applying to jobs since october, when I lost my manager status. but holy fuck... after almost 1000 applications-- i've had one callback/interview, which didn't pan out. and since then it's been crickets. how utterly fucked am i?
