One thing about the past few days that worries me the most is that there's basically no discussion of this on Hacker News. The only posts have XX replies and are filled with meltdowners. So, the people who are supposed to be the most inquisitive, intelligent, and thoughtful have essentially no extrinsic interest in what's going on here. They're either married to the status quo or we've given them way too much credit.
