What happens when a lot of Lightning channels want to close (ie settle via on-chain transaction) at the same time?

Let's go with an example of 604800 channels trying to close all at once cause something happened either organically or maybe an attack on Lightning

I might sell my ETH as it's an unregistered security and the SEC can't just give them a free pass when chasing down the others such as Ripple or BNB, also the move to PoS again makes it worthless.

>for what purpose. At least buy monero instead of a ghostchain
This "ghostchain" is the perfect hedge for BTC as it outperforms all PoW chains in scale and CSW could be SN. I'm not waiting around for a signature when it's so cheap and he wins big lawsuits.
That being said I did consider adding some Monero, but I'd need to research it a bit more.

For a while I had big doubts. I've read through a Monero thread actually that kinda just gave me the final courage to dump all PoS. The TLDR is that PoS centralises into kind of an oligarchy structure, but the bigger problem is that usually staking comes with voting power, whereas miners in PoW systems do not make rules, they merely enforce them. Third, the system becomes vulnerable to attack as PoS allows anonymous stakers, as they don't need to build large warehouses of hardware, they can simply spin up 500 AWS instances and pose as many entities, when in reality it is only 1 - why would they attack a network they hold so much stake in? If they gain more by somehow shorting it, which just shouldn't even be possible to begin with as it's a constant Damokles sword over your head, it could even be done if a rich guy feels like it and does it for the fun of it. Oh and if you simply scale PoW systems up they are also environmentally friendly so normies lose that argument against it, too.
