Yo who's got that MBTI and rpg class picture? I can't find it through google. It's got a bunch of NPC roles on it too.

While we're larping - can anyone provide a pic or quick calculation of how link hits $1k in the future? Thanks

With regards to your points:
SGX
https://medium.com/@cl_thodges/chainlink-white-paper-section-6-long-term-technical-strategy-b5c5e199ddfa

Trusted hardware is a critical piece of the ChainLink network, but not all nodes have to run on it. In fact, Sergey has mentioned that for smaller contract sizes, they might not want to or need to utilize such nodes, as they could be more expensive. That being said, the issues of trusted hardware must be examined, but Sergey believes that it shouldn't be the reason to hold up the adoption of smart-contracts by legacy systems, decentralized oracle networks. It's just a question of what solutions and implementations arise in time, but that isn't a critical vulnerability in ChainLink's thesis, in and of itself. Or correct me if I'm horribly wrong
Sergey alluded to these points, here, if I recall. Can't recall the timestamp though, sorry.

>copy/paste + refactor academic whitepapers to suit the smart contract mdidleware
What is this supposed to imply? Satoshi referenced Adam Back and the work of hashcash, back in the original BTC whitepaper.
I mean, I'm not saying they didn't plagiarize or try to hype themselves up by taking from other academic work. But in any case, are any of those academics anywhere closer to a decentralized oracle network?

I agree with this sentiment.

But, the harsh truth is that brainlets got rich off ETH, and brainlets like me could get rich off LINK if it works out, but I want to learn as much as possible regardless.

By the way, if you do care about the project's success, if only because you think it's a cool idea, consider joining the slack and the gitter, and lighting a fire under their asses, if you see any glaring issues. Maybe you don't give a shit, but it's worth a shot

I've done my research
Chainlink is gold
I assure you 99% of the people here FUDDING chainlink haven't done any research but avoided because someone spewed some pseudo intelligent bullshit and ended it with "don't buy LINK" knowing nobody would try research further, and theythink to themselves "hur hur he sounds like he knows what he is talking about" and didn't research further.
The other 1% saw the small potential for its meme value to literally moon this and transform the world and the cryptospace will never be the same
Prove me wrong

$350 billion MC / $1,000 is not a far stretch in 3-4 years if LINK starts gaining momentum starting this year

I'm happy with $35billion / $100 LINK by 2020 desu

Step 1: Be a real industry insider
Step 2: Start posting little bits of info
>holy shit people can tell I'm not a total shill
Step 3: Create a tripcode.... let's call is AB
Step 4: Lead the sheep - obvious info...a little rhetoric above normal banter, but most of all... latch on to a popular project (may moon, may not)
Step 5: Hurry timing is of the essence. Get your webdev friend to make a shitty "NWO sanctioned one-world-gov crypto-bank ICO"
Step 6: Slip your ICO into round 5 of your "leaks"

Why aren't you doing this? It's free money!

Link Marine:
"Dad, I've never asked you - how did you get your start? Like, you only play video games and mate your Gen 10k cryptokitties all day long - how do we have this nice house? And like, food to eat?"

I chuckle and take a deep draw from my soma-tap. "Well son, way back in the day, I was lucky enough to stumble upon some ground-breaking blockchain tech when it was still in its infancy. I had a couple of hundred US dollars (the local, "national" currency at the time) lying around, and so, I bought link."

Sergey jr. gapes at me, goggle-eyed. "Wait. You mean to tell me that you owned a whole Finney?!"

I laugh, throwing my head back with mirth. "No, son. I owned Link.”

He splutters, fingers frantically scrabbling across his wrist-tab to set up a live holofeed. And then he pauses a beat, a quizzical look settling across his face.

"But wait... If that's true, why don't we live in like, a fricking castle? Why aren't we taking weekend trips to the orbital hubs?"

I choke on my soma, coughing out gouts of translucent vapor that waft away on the crackling breeze of the static deionizer. "Well," I choke out, eyes watering and cheeks burning red, "I, um, I sold them."

He eyes me with cold malice. "How much did you sell them for, Dad?"

I look away, twirling the tap anxiously in my fingers. It made sense at the time. It was a bubble, there was no way that it wasn't! Softly, almost imperceptibly, I murmur to myself, "Less than it should have been..."
